iPhone Pocket: Wearable iPhone Accessory in the US

In today’s world, the mobile phone is no longer just a tool for communication; it has become an integral part of lifestyle. Especially in the United States, where fashion and technology evolve together, Apple’s new product, the iPhone Pocket, has attracted significant attention. This is more than just an accessory—it represents a new idea: that a phone can be something you wear, not just carry.

The iPhone Pocket is a collaboration between Apple and the Japanese design brand ISSEY MIYAKE. Its design concept is based on the idea of “a piece of cloth.” This means that the accessory is flexible, wearable, and designed to complement the user’s personal style. Its 3D-knitted structure reflects ISSEY MIYAKE’s signature pleat style, combining quality, simplicity, and artistry. The iPhone Pocket transforms the way phones are carried, turning them into a fashionable extension of one’s attire.

The accessory will be available in the United States starting November 14, 2025. According to Apple, the short strap model is priced at USD 149.95, while the long strap costs USD 229.95. It will be available at selected Apple Stores and through Apple.com. There are two main styles: the Short Strap and the Long Strap. The Short Strap is offered in eight vibrant colors—lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black—while the Long Strap comes in sapphire, cinnamon, and black. Its flexible design accommodates any iPhone model, ensuring usability across different devices.

The iPhone Pocket has become popular in the American market because it addresses a growing lifestyle trend that combines technology with fashion. Americans increasingly seek hands-free solutions for carrying their phones, and this accessory provides an artistic solution that allows users to carry their phones without losing style. The iPhone Pocket offers not only aesthetic appeal but also freedom, enabling users to take photos, listen to music, or move around comfortably without holding the phone in their hands.

However, it is important to consider some limitations. Its price is higher than that of typical phone cases or straps, which might make it a luxury item for many consumers. Additionally, it is not a protective case; it does not safeguard the phone from impacts or water damage. The focus is entirely on fashion and style, not security. For users outside the United States, including in Nepal, import costs and shipping fees may further increase the total price.

This collaboration between Apple and ISSEY MIYAKE highlights a new era where fashion and technology intersect. The concept of a wearable phone accessory shows the potential for “wearable technology” to become an art form. In the United States, where trends are quickly embraced, the iPhone Pocket is seen not merely as a phone accessory but as a fashion statement.

In conclusion, the iPhone Pocket is more than just a mobile strap; it represents a convergence of modern lifestyle and technology. Its design balances simplicity with artistic sophistication, turning the phone into a wearable accessory. For those in the United States interested in integrating technology into their style, the iPhone Pocket offers a unique and elegant solution.
